Who we are

One company, three physical offices

American Freedom Bail Bonds writes regular California state and local bail bonds. We work from three physical offices, and only three: Anaheim, Brea and La Habra. Everywhere else we cover is a service area worked from one of those three — so when you call, you reach an office, not a call centre routing you elsewhere.

How we help

What we actually do

We post bail for felony, misdemeanour, DUI, domestic violence, drug-related charges and warrants, and we arrange payment plans where they apply. We do not write federal or immigration bonds.

Why families call us

Reasons you can check for yourself

Three staffed offices

Anaheim, Brea and La Habra are real addresses you can visit, not virtual offices or a redirected phone line.

Licensed in California

We hold California Department of Insurance license 1841014, and we have written bail in Southern California since 1997.

Available 24 hours

Arrests do not keep business hours. A licensed agent can take your call at any hour, any day.

Honest about timing

Release timing is controlled by the jail, not by us. We will not quote you a release time we cannot promise.

Costs explained first

We explain the premium, any payment arrangement and what is required before you commit to anything.

Two counties, covered

We work across Orange County and Los Angeles County, and we will tell you plainly if a facility is outside what we cover.

Where we work

Orange County and Los Angeles County

Our three offices anchor the areas we serve. Each county hub lists the cities, courts and custody facilities we cover.

Cost and payment

What a bail bond costs

  • The standard bail premium in California is 10% of the bail amount.
  • A 7% rate is available if you qualify. Ask us and we will tell you honestly whether it applies to your situation.
  • 0% interest payment plans are available for qualified clients, subject to approval.
  • Bonds without collateral are available depending on qualification and circumstances.

How the rate is actually set. California bail premium rates are not fixed by statute. Each surety files its rates with the California Department of Insurance, and licensed agents charge the filed rate. Any company telling you the state fixes the price at 10% is describing it wrongly.
