South Coast Orange County Bail Bonds
The coastal cities from Newport Beach down to San Clemente, served by the Harbor Justice Center.
The South Coast cities run along the shoreline from Newport Beach to San Clemente. Arrest patterns here are shaped by visitors as much as residents — harbour areas, beach parking, summer events and coastal nightlife draw people who do not live locally and often do not know which city they were actually in when something happened. That matters, because the city determines the agency and the agency determines where to look.

What is different about this area
If an arrest happened near a harbour, a state beach or a park, the arresting agency may not be the city police at all — confirm it before searching.
Tell us the city and roughly when the arrest happened and we will establish which agency holds the person and what the scheduled bail is.

The south coast is the sharpest contrast in the county. Newport Beach will take a bail payment at the counter around the clock; a few miles down the coast there is no city jail at all. The Newport Beach page lists every published payment restriction, several of which turn people away at the door.
Finding them, and the bail amount
Orange County’s Inmate Information System requires an account and does not display charges, so a successful search still will not give you a bail figure. Get the charge from the facility, from OCSD Inmate Records on (714) 647-4666, or from us, then read it against the schedule.

Where the case is heard
Court routing follows the city of arrest, not where the person lives. Cases from South Coast Orange County are associated with the Harbor Justice Center, and arraignment must happen within 48 hours of arrest excluding Sundays and holidays under Penal Code § 825. That is what the courthouse handles, not a case assignment — the release paperwork and case record control where a case is actually heard. See arraignment and all Orange County courthouses.
